The purpose of the conference was to promote Urdu not only as a language, but also as a culture.
The main guest will be the Federal Minister of education, national heritage and culture Shafqat Mahmud.
According to the official, there will also be an Urdu Mushayra, where poets will present their poems in accordance with the celebration of Independence Day (August 14).
He said that at the above-mentioned conference, scientists, researchers, teachers and intellectuals will present reports on many important topics related to literature, education, the judicial system, the fine arts and other spheres of life.
He said that the session would be chaired by a high-ranking person, Dr Rashid Hamid, Director-General of the national language promotion Department.
