Dr. Zafar Mirza resigns as SAPM on Health
Islamabad: special assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) for national health Affairs, Dr. Safar Mirza, resigned from his post on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
Safar Mirza took to the social network Twitter and announced his resignation.
“I have resigned from the post of SAPM. I came to Pakistan at the personal invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan after leaving the world health organization (who). It was a great honor for me to serve Pakistan, " he said. Safar Mirza further said that he is satisfied that he is leaving at a time when the COVID-19 has declined in Pakistan as a result of great national efforts.
